Our state-of-the-art LASIK technology offers vision correction as unique as the individual itself. We are proud to be the only laser center in Northeast Ohio to use iDESIGN® Refractive Studio technology with our VISX® Advanced Wavefront Guided Laser. Our new technology allows us to provide the most accurate, personalized, laser vision correction available for our LASIK patients.
The iDESIGN® Refractive Studio technology from Johnson and Johnson Vision is the only system to use topography-integrated, wavefront-guided technology, which allows our doctors to take precise measurements of your eye; inside and out. The iDESIGN® measures how light travels inside your eye and details the imperfections in your vision while the external scan evaluates the outside surface of your eye, measuring every tiny variation to help guide the laser during your treatment. These measurements create a completely customized treatment plan for every eye.
Our team works diligently to ensure we are providing the most advanced technology to our patients. The iDESIGN® Refractive Studio measures over 1,200 points of each eye creating a custom laser vision correction that potentially provides better vision than glasses or contacts. The iDESIGN® Refractive Studio is the first and only FDA approved treatment for monovision, allowing us to serve more patients than ever before. It is a difference you can truly see!
Our surgeons only perform bladeless LASIK using the IntraLase Laser to create the corneal flap. A significant technological advancement over the manual microkeratome blades of the past, the IntraLase Laser reduces potential complications that could occur when using the blade to make the flap. Patients treated using the IntraLase Laser experience quick healing, less dryness and better vision after surgery.
