RETINA CENTER

If you imagine your eye as a camera, the retina is the film. Responsible for sensing incoming light and transmitting signals to your brain, the retina is a layer of nerves in the back of your eye. As you would expect, retinal issues can result in major problems for your vision. Patients with retinal issues usually experience floating specks or flashes. LAURENCE E. LOHMAN

As an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Northeast Ohio Medical University, Dr. Lohman brings extensive academic and clinical leadership to his practice. He has completed tens of thousands of successful LASIK and cataract surgeries and actively instructs fellow surgeons in these advanced techniques.

MARC F. JONES

Dr. Jones is a recognized pioneer in advanced corneal transplantation methods, including DALK, DMEK, and DSAEK. Alongside his highly specialized transplant work, he brings vast surgical expertise with a high-volume background in LASIK and cataract operations.

ELIZABETH SHANIKA ESPARAZ

Board-certified to provide general vision care and perform cataract operations, Dr. Esparaz also holds specialized fellowship training in retinal health. She utilizes cutting-edge treatments to manage complex conditions such as retinal tears, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.

RACHEL DAVIS

Focusing on the structures surrounding the eye, Dr. Davis is a fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon. Her highly specialized practice addresses complex lacrimal, orbital, and eyelid conditions.

EMMA REYNOLDS

Dr. Reynolds is dedicated to general optometry and ocular health, diagnosing and treating everyday concerns like red or dry eyes, as well as complex issues such as retinal and diabetic eye diseases. She also oversees post-operative recovery for LASIK patients.

WILLIAM R. RUDY

Alongside conducting thorough routine vision exams and custom contact lens fittings, Dr. Rudy expertly manages a variety of ocular conditions including glaucoma and macular degeneration. His practice also heavily features perioperative care for individuals undergoing LASIK, cataract, or glaucoma interventions.

JENNIFER S. VINCENT

Focusing on preventative and therapeutic eye health, Dr. Vincent expertly manages glaucoma, diabetic vision complications, and retinal disorders. She is also highly experienced in treating acute red eye, chronic dry eye, and providing necessary follow-up care for refractive surgery patients.

SAMANTHA R. ZACKYK

Dr. Zaczyk provides thorough, primary eye care with a strong clinical emphasis on disease management. Her expertise includes addressing diabetic eye changes, retinal issues, and glaucoma, in addition to resolving surface discomforts like dry eye and monitoring LASIK recovery.

KATIE H. ZAJAC

Dr. Zajac merges routine vision services, such as precision contact lens fittings, with advanced medical eye care. She routinely evaluates and treats patients for dry eye, glaucoma, and diabetic eye conditions, while also managing the post-surgical healing process for those who have undergone LASIK.
